Since installing Beta7068 and now RC (originally had beta7000 and it worked like vista) I no longer have the content of the sub folders displayed in the current folder I'm looking at. eg if I am lookink at a folder of a band and in that folder are sub folders containing albums by that band, in the band folders are jpeg's of the album art work. The artwork will be shown in the album folder but nolonger in the artist folder (if you use the large icon setting). Same thing happening with folders containing pics from my digital camera.

Odd problems popping up since I have up graded from Beta7000 this as well as the 30 second advance problem I'm having with WMC. I have gone back and installed beta7000 and all is good with that copy, though 7000 is not as stable as these new ones.

Samuel, have you tried a clean install of the RC? What I am seeing in larg icon view is a folder with a folder inside, indicating there are subfolders, I guess.

Also, could you post a screen capture of what you are seeing in build 7000?
Thanks!

On closer inspection I have noticed that the folders are not behaving at all like the had before (in beta7000 and Vista). It is only those folders that contain mp3 files with the album artwork imbedded that will show the artwork in the large folder, the folder containing the jpeg tilted Folder no longer showes up.

The folder called 'Watch Me Disappear' has the mp3s without the imbedded artwork but does contain the Folder.jpeg, which was enough to work in the past. Then the next folder up was able to see the artwork as well, it could display only 2 album covers from the sub folders, but it looked much better than it does at the moment.

This is what it looked like in vista and beta7000, you can see all the album artwork in the folder and the sub folder
