Hello everyone, i am newcomer in this site and i need an urgent help. If someone can help me, pls, do it. I am desperate. Recently i installed w7 professional on my almost brand new TOSHIBA laptop, which had official Vista premium installed previously but crashed two times. About one month ago my computer started to automatically restart every second hour. I checked all my hardware, which did not reveal any problem. i am getting crazy, i did all my best but useless. Did someone had similar problem and how did you overcome the problem. Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks in advance, waiting for an advice.

I found this: http://www.techsupportforum.com/hard...over-over.html

tap f8 when booting and from the boot menu items try
last known good configuration
I don't know a whole lot about laptops, but I had worked on one with a similar problem where it was hardware related. It appeared that the HDD had been damaged. Hopefully the above info helps.

Are you using Windows 7 RC?

Quote:
The Windows 7 RC expires on June 1, 2010. Starting on March 1, 2010, PCs running Windows 7 RC began shutting down every two hours.

If you're still running the RC, your PC will continue shutting down every two hours and your files won't be saved during shutdown. In addition, your wallpaper will change to a solid black background with a persistent message on your desktop. You'll also get periodic notifications that Windows isn't genuine. That means your PC may no longer be able to obtain optional updates or downloads requiring genuine Windows validation.
