[SOLVED] Keyboard shortcuts

somehow I mistakenly used some button/s to make some characters show up as french, for example,when I press the quotation key, it comes up as a french 'e' with an accent over it and the the slash '\'key under the 'a' becomes a 'u' with an accent over it.

The only window it's doing that on is when I talk in messenger with my friend....as you can see, on this window it doesn't do it, nor does it happen in windows word processor, just in windows messenger.

Did you try Alt-Shift to switch back to English?

I had tried that but now I've found out, if I press Ctrl-Shift twice, everything is back to normal. Thank you all for your suggestions!! This problem has been solved!
