I would like to know:
how to keep dpi 96 but increase font size?
as i could do under vista & xp.

Type Font into your start menu search box, then once you bring up the window there is an option to "Change Font Size" on the left side of the window.

Or click "Fonts" in the Control Panel (icon view) Quite a few options.
