Loaded Windows 7 last night Reloaded Kaspersky virus 2009 and windows notes that the driver is incompatable and won't be activated. Updated kaspersky 2009 and got same message. I thought that I saw somewhere that I can upgrade the 2009 to Kaspersky Virus 2010 for free with 2009 key.

Anyone know if that istrue??

Could you please give more information?
1) Did this all of a sudden become an issue? ( did the software work perfect before )
2) Did you try reinstalling the software?
3) What exactly was the error message and could you include a screenshot of it.

And yes you can upgrade to the 2010 if you have a valid license for 2009. Take a look at the following webpage:
http://usa.kaspersky.com/products_services/kasp0910.php

linuxdudex12

thanks for the link.
I upgraded to 2010 and that seemed to work fine now.
In answer to your questions

the software worked great before I loaded windows 7 it seemd to be directly a conflict between window 7 and Kaspersky 2009 version

I don't have a screenshot to send
