Kaspersky download site hacked, redirected users to fake AV

This just goes to show you can never be to careful. Even downloading straight from AV Producers Website, you can still fall victim. I'm pretty sure they have things corrected by now though.

Thanks for the heads up, Cliff. On a lighter note .. think of the irony. AV site hacked. So much for peace of mind from Kaspersky protection!

Aren't you still too young to imbibe the wine and champagne? Just Kidding!

Fly all of us over to France and we'll sit and eat some good Brie and sip a fine white wine along with some good crusty bread. Then we'll all go to the Moulin Rouge and have fun.

It dosen't surprise me at all that hackers would target the Anti-Virus sites. I'm sure that they all get hundreds of attacks per day.

Grats on 800 posts Cat!

Thats what I always do, just buy the software in the shop.
But imagine the surprise of getting messed over trying to buy a legitimate product like Kaspersky online and ending up with a fake AV! Wow!
