Intel D975XBX2 Marvell SATA driver needed for Windows 7
Installed Windows 7 (62 bit) onto Intel D975XBX2 ATX Motherboard.
I can not get windows to recognize the SATA drives attached to the internal Marvell card.
BIOS see the drives, just not windows.
Attempted to install both Windows XP 64 and Vista 64 Intel drivers (STOR_allOS_8.7.0.1007_PV), but the install fails with "system does not meet the minimum requirements)

Any Ideas?

Did you install using compatibility mode (Right click on drive setup exe > properties > run in Vista mode)?

Im not sure what the difference is between Matrix and Marvell

there are two downloads
"Marvell (RAID) driver version 1.2.0.60"
"Intel® Matrix Storage Technology (RAID) driver version 8.7.0.1007"

If you still don't have this working let me know. I have resolved this issue on my d975xbx2. I won't be back to this forum but you can get the info from me at this same username @gmail.com

And you can post the solution if you like

Go there to the link above and download the driver for Windows 7 x64 in the Marvell driver section. Then install it, it should work.
