No, 64 bit software and OS's are intended for 64 bit hardware.

Well, maybe you can. I did a search on your motherboard and found that someone was using a 64 bit linux distro. Got any more info about your computers hardware?

Hi steadfast - Welcome to w7forums

Found 22 Compatible Processor(s) for Board "D946GZIS"

All of these processors are 64-Bit processors. You should be able to install Windows 64-Bit.

You can try Windows 7 Upgrade Advisor and see what it says.

Edit:
You might be mistaken about your motherboard being 32-Bit
