I want to install office 2007 on MS Windows 7 home edition 64-bit. Do I need to have a 64 bit office 2007 software? in other words can I use the same office 2007 I normally use on windows 7 32-bit?

Yes, you can install the Windows Office 2007 32-bit version on your 64-bit Windows 7. You'll have no issues whatsoever.

I run the Office 2010 32-bit on my Windows 7 Professional with no problems.

It's a 32-bit app so it runs fine on both Win 7 32 & 64-bit equally well. I use it on 64 myself.
