The best I can remember if you choose the Custom Install route, you will have an option to select a different location to install too.

If you know this and are asking if it is safe. If it wasn't safe, there would not be an option to do so.

I was working from memory, sorry I couldn't explain things clearly. It will be tomorrow before I can explain further. I will need to re-install and I'm not up to doing so at the moment. If you can wait, I will be more than happy to answer you with a better relpy.

Hopefully someone will know without needing to re-install.

Instead of "Typical Install" or "Minimal Install" you must use "Customized Install" and choose what items to install as well as specify the path where you want it installed.
