install onto 2 machines

iam after buying Win7 and wish to know if i can use the one package and dowload onto my desktop and my wifes laptop we both use the same ips and e-mail address
currently useing vista homeprem on desktop and vista basic on the laptop so a full clean install i think would be best

The copy of Windows you purchased is only good for one computer. I agree that a clean install would be best.

There is Family Packs that can be installed to more than one computer.

thanks for the replys from everyone and the the reply about the FAMILY PACK sounds great and what i need ;so how do i get hold of the pack - any links please iam from the UK

Interesting... Amazon.com crossed out Family Pack offer on their site but made it available in the UK.
