Instalation Problems WIN 7 64 Bit

Bought a new HD, 500GB WD Blue Caviar Sata II and Win7 retail. My MB Asrock K10N78D manual says that I need to alter settings in BIOS to AHCI ( I don't want raid) whic I did. Altered the boot sequence put in disk. On boot up notice this message: AHCI port 0 error device, press F2 to continue, which I did, get to the windows logo and that as far as I get!

Please help!
