Inprovements to Windows Easy Transfer

The Microsoft Team blog have a article on improvements to the Windows Easy Transfer wizard which comes with Windows 7. You can use this application to move files and settings from a Windows XP/Vista/Seven operating system to a fresh Windows 7 install. It works surprisingly well, and will be a great way to move from the Windows 7 RC > RTM.

The Windows Easy Transfer tool is amazing. This is NOT the same crappy tool that came with XP. It rules.

Yep, this one is miles better

It's good how you can now choose what you want to import to the new system, which was one of the big drawbacks of the old verison.

It looks like it will be really easy to move from the RC > RTM using this
