I don't know where you get your numbers. I have Windows 7 Ultimate (64),
and my update installation history shows 102 items, of which 64 are
definition updates for Windows Security Essentials and 4 are software
updates for external hardware. That leaves 34 updates. The "Installed
Updates" page only lists 28, including the optional installation of
Silverlight. I don't know what the 6 item the discrepancy is.
