IE9 64 bit & Skype

Windows 7 Ultimate with IE 9 just installed
Conflicted Program: Skype

After installing IE9, it appears my Skype is no longer logging in. It seems
to think the login or password does not match so I did the "Forgot my
Password". They sent me a temp password but it doesn't log in either. I'm
pretty sure this is a IE9 configuration issue, I'm just not sure where to
begin.

when reviewing the IE9 Add-Ins, it shows Skype Enabled, although I don't use
the Skype toolbar.

Judging from the RoboForm thread, you might be running into 32-bit vs
64-bit problems here too.

Also, you almost certainly do have the 32-bit version of IE-9. Its in
the folder
C:\Program Files (x86)\Internet Explorer.

The 64-bit version is in the folder
C:\Program Files\Internet Explorer
Note the missing " (x86)" qualifier.

Try running (setting your shortcuts for) the 32-bit version.

The 64-bit version won't let itself be the default browser, but if it's
already running when you click on a link, the page will open in there,
according to a recent thread in, I think, this NG.

Yes, that's true. BTW, I found and cured my problem in that thread. As
I suspected, a script I have running on the background was leaving an
instance of IE running. It is instructional to know that scripts running
in the 64 bit environment which use IE will use the 64 bit version, which
makes sense.

It seems to me that this still invokes the 64 bit version of IE. This is
the shortcut I put on the desktop.
C:\Program Files (x86)\Internet Explorer\iexplore.exe

How can I tell for sure if this is the 32 bit? It still has the same issues
(but I think that is because it still invokes the 64 bit version).

Disregard the part about knowing for sure if it is the 32 bit. The about
box gives me the correct information so your correct, this path is the 32
bit version.

I don't understand what I need to do so that my Skype and RoboForm (from
other thread) works?
