My XP icon folder of many wonderful icons is useless in Windows 7 / 64.
Anyone know of a good icon library that will easily work with this OS?

Thanks,

Oreally

Why are they uselss? When I switched from XP to 7-64 last year ,I was able to
use icons I had on my XP machine. They're only little graphic files.

Not useless, just a different standard.

What do you mean by "useless"? Exactly how are you trying to use them?
What happens when you try? If you get an error message, please quote
it verbatim.

Any image file with a square aspect ratio(horizontal and vertical
aspects are the same) can be converted to an icon.

Using any graphics/image/photo editor resize the image to 32 pixels x 32
pixels. Save the image with an extension of BMP. Rename the image to
"Imagename.ico"

Error:

Library.icl Decode error! The file doesn't contain icons

I try to change icon in properties for shortcuts to Internet. No problem
doing so in XP!
