I got the answer before on the group but my wife deciced she didn't want in so I am asking again.

I arranged the icons on the desktop as I want them but when I shut down and later switch on they have all moved. How can I stop them moving please.

Ken

Hi Ken

Have you looked at the View Options by right clicking on desktop?

I have mine set to align to grid and turned off auto arrange. My icons will snap to grid and stay where I put them with the exception of changing the screen resolution. Making the screen smaller will push the icons so that they stay in view at all times.

Ken,

Do just what C_C told you and it will work fine. I do exactly the same thing with no issues.
