Hullo to u all,
As iv just installed W7 for the first time i thought id check out stuff about it n found this forum. Im using a 6000+ Dual Core AMG processor on a motherboard i got at Maplins, only 2gb of RAM for the moment and a graphics card i cant remember the details of. Iv been using XP64 Pro for years now and didnt want to change as its suited me very well, and iv not heard much positive about Vista. I decided to go for W7 coz i needed to install some engineering software that just wouldnt work on XP64. So i bought a new 1tb HD and got a copy of W7 64 ultimate do run along side XP on my original HD. Needless to say i ran headlong into installing it with out stopping to think and the dual boot isnt working properly. But thas a subject for another thread in the right section.
Anyway, thas about it for now. Just wanted to post my first thread
