hotmail

when trying to send an email if I click on my contacts and click on send email or if I have messenger open and right click on a contact then right click on send email hotmail will open and fill in the email address but then shuts down.....but if I type the address in manually it works just fine...this just started happening ....any ideas of why this is happening

No I have never heard of this but more detail might help.

Are you using the self standing application Windows Live Mail or are you using a browser and going to the hotmail website to do your mail? If it's the browser then what browser, including version.
