In newsgroups if I highlight a subject title in the Subject pane and click
Actions/Watch conversation then the Subject line is duly shown in red
text...that's fine..but
1. How do I arrange for the subject title of any subsequent messages in that
conversation also be shown in red text?, and
2. How do I arrange for the relevant newsgroup title in the left hand pane
(is it the navigation pane?) heading also be shown red text?
Thanks.

I Am using Live mail and watched Messages when extended are also Red and the
corresponding Newsgroup in the left hand list is also In red if there are
any received watch messages.

Yes, that is exactly what happens and the red text remains in all three
cases until the symbol (spectacles) is removed.

Ok thanks. When I first viewed the two replies received they were not
red..neither
was the newsgroup on the left. Now however after clicking to and fro a
bit - all ok.
I'll post another starter message, and see if the following replies show as
required.
Grateful if someone could respond to this message and new message. Thanks
