Can anyone assist in the following,
this is from my brother in law who is using Windows 7 Windows Live Mail
with all the lastest updates.

thank you in advance for any assistance that you can provide.

Liz.

These are the steps I used:
I go to my pictures library and select a picture.
I right click and go to “send to” “mail recipient”.
Window comes up attach files showing picture size e.g. Medium: 1024 x 768
Total estimated size 230 kb.
I click attach.
I see a brief window that says windows preparing to send.
Then I get a window message ready to send showing picture.
In the subject line shows “emailing picture”.
I enter email address and click send.
I get the following window:
Windows Live Mail
Some errors occurred while processing the requested tasks. Please review the
list of errors below for more details.
Errors:
Delete the photo email, create a new one, and try to send it again
Server:
Windows Live Mail Error ID: 0x8ccc0003

Email with picture now sits in Outbox and unless I delete it, it interferes
with future sending of standard email messages.

Don't know about WLM but you can delete the message from the Outbox or if you need
to save it then put it over to the Draft or the Sent folder until such time as you
can send it

Try resizing the picture and see what happens.

I think Peter's got the right idea. The thread I was looking at,
suggested they had to be moved out of the outbox, to prevent
WLM from trying to do the same failed operation over and over
again. It's the fact it's trying to pump the image file up
to a non-existent Skydrive that makes it fail. Moving them
out of the Outbox, might stop it.

Please don't post the same query multiple times. It makes some of us
pass you by where we might have been inclined to help otherwise.

Liz, try posting to microsoft.public.windows.live.mail.desktop

While some in this group may try to help, there are many others who have no
interest in WLM or helping somebody to use it. I'm sure you'll find the
responses in the other group are much more focused on your problem.

Wouldn't an oversized picture give the same results and by making it
small enough to be sent fix everything?
