[SOLVED] Help connecting PS3 to monitor?

I was thinking of connecting my PS3 to my monitor so I can play my games in my room since my tv is too big and is in another room.

How do I know if I need a HDMI cable or a HDMI to DVI adapter? I've been searching about it and these 2 things kept coming up but I don't know which one I need and if I will need an audio adapter?

Anyone have any ideas?
