Hey all, I've been having some serious trouble with my computer and CTD's and BSOD's related to what im fairly certain is something to do with my graphics card.

Long story short I've had repeated Service Exception BSOD'd for the past 2-3 weeks. In that amount of time I've run memtest to see if maybe my memory was to blame but that turned up nothing. I used driver sweeper to remove my nvidia drivers and put a fresh install on, and yet it still crashes.

I'm at my wits end here, normally its simply a matter of bad memory or a bad driver, but with this I have no clue what to do.

Any help would be much appreciated.

I've included the dump file from the most recent crash and my system info as well.

EDIT: I know the more information the better so I'll give some examples of when something will CTD or Blue Screen.
Rendering videos with Sony Vegas - No CTD's
Using photoshop - No CTD's
Browsing the web - No CTD's
Watching High Definition Video - No CTD's
Playing Team Fortress 2 - No CTD's, some weird graphical glitches though have started appearing.
Left4dead 2 - CTD's and Blue Screens oh my.
League of Legends - CTD's
Mass Effect - CTD's and sometimes blue screens.

Another Edit:

Hey. Ya, you're getting 0x3B errors related to the video.

I noticed you already have the latest driver or very recent, so that's not the problem.

First, I'd visit my motherboard's website and install the latest chipset/lan/audio/storage drivers. If that doesn't help, install the latest bios.

Very important too:

Update your Razer mouse driver to latest from their website:

Code:
dadder dadder.sys Thu Aug 02 05:33:03 2007
These are older and I believe related to chipset as I was saying. You could visit NVIDIA's site most likely for this too, depending on your nForce version (5 or later.)
Code:
nvflsh64 nvflsh64.sys Fri Aug 01 14:08:23 2008
nvoclk64 nvoclk64.sys Mon Aug 18 12:00:01 2008
If none of this helped, go into C:\Windows\System32\drivers

and rename adfs.SYS to adfs.bak

then reboot.

It could also be a heat related issue so use an overclocking utility to raise the fan speed to max while playing. Or run with a room fan blowing in on the open case to test if it crashes like this.

I've given you quite a few leads to go on. Check em out and let us know how it goes. If you still run into problems, post a new crash dump and we can have another look. In this case, then also completely uninstall your antivirus as another test. Disabling only, will not help.

Good luck.

Thanks for the reply.

I just updated my mobo driver and my mouse driver, I'll see if that helps anything.

So once again I've been fine for a while, however the problem has once again reared its ugly head.

BSOD'd again while playing League of Legends.

Posting my new dump.

Hey, I just had a look. It seems that dadder.sys is still the same version and hasn't been updated. Same for the others I'd mentioned.

Thats strange because I downloaded and installed the new Death Adder drivers when I installed my new mobo drivers.

Hi Abortedman

Are you absolutely certain that is a new dump?

Clear the contents of the dump folder and then post a new dump after the next crash.
