Hi techkisses - Welcome to w7forums

If you don't have Windows 7 install media, try Windows 7 System Recovery. Many of the tools needed for boot repair are on the disk. The disk is not install media, it's for recovering Windows 7 only.

Download Windows 7 System Recovery Discs

This thread may be of interest to you. It will work with the repair disk, the same way it does for the install media.

Ouch

I didn't know they pulled the download links from the page.

Give me a few more minutes to investigate further.

By "skin" I guess you mean a theme. One of the popular current ways to plant virus's on your computer is by way of image files. If you do get the OS up and running, I would suggest an immediate full scan with your Antivirus program.

I would stay clear of torrent downloads, they can be unpredictable. This is , possibly a better option:

You have to burn the ISO file to the USB flash drive. Don't copy it, burn it and make sure it's set as a bootable USB device. Then make sure the USB flash is set as the first boot device in the BIOS of the computer you're trying to repair.

Here is a link to download a special app to burn the ISO to a USB Flash drive: http://download.cnet.com/Windows-7-U...-10972600.html
