I ahve been seriously struggling trying to get HDMI Audio drivers correctly set up and enabled. I have GA-MA78LM-S2H mobo with AMD Phenom II 720 3-core. 4GB, 2 x WD Caviar HDs using on-board ATI HD3200 video and Realtek HD 7.1 Audio

Bottom Lne: VIDEO passes to HDTV beautifully, BUT Audio is simply NOT THERE. I have tried multiple settings within device manager and seem unable to enable the ATI-Realtek HDMI Audio Driver. I believe you need both to do proper HDMI audio?

Any help would be greatly appreciated

THX, Brookeville

Have you downloaded and installed the ATI HDMI drivers from the Realtek website?

They're listed as: ATI HDMI Audio Device R2.49 6-11-2010

Click the above link to download the driver.

I don't believe these motherboards support audio over HDMI. You need to use an optical cable
