I'm running Windows 7 Professional x64 with a APC BackUPS BE 750G-LM UPS and 2 Western Digital Caviar Black WD1001FALS-00J7B0 1.0 terabyte hard drives running with AHCI enables in the bios and registry. Is it safe to enable the option I circled in the second Device Manager screenshot ? Thanks for any help.

Yes, you should be safe since you have the backup power supply.

I do the same thing.

Solved. Thanks Nibiru2012. They changed the wording from how it was worded in Vista, so I wasn't sure if it was safe in 7.
