I have been advised to upgrade my Microsoft Security Essentials and it wants to know if I have a 32 bit or 64 bit system...how do I tell?

Well it should be automatic from the Windows Update website.

If not, then right-click on the "Computer" icon in the Start Orb menu or desktop. Under "System" it will tell you which version you have.
