I have downloaded Google Earth several times but have to keep uninstalling it as it will not operate. I have it on my desk PC (XP) which works OK but my laptop is Windows 7 and it will just not work. I would be grateful for any assistance.

Are you using latest OEM drivers for your graphics card/chipset?

Hi cajaray and welcome

Just wondering what your laptop spec is and what Windows 7 are you running ?, have you tried XP or Vista compatibility mode ?

Well since Google and the National Security Agency (USA) are so intimate with each other, don't be surprised about it being a little buggy!

cajaray, welcome to the forums! Why not try Bing Maps 3D on your laptop? It does everything that Google does, and more. No kidding, it works well on my Windows 7 install. Google makes everything with backward compatibility, that's why it looks good on your desktop. Your laptop calls for a more modern product. Try it and see.
