Has anyone ever tried to actually bust one? I did and they're tougher then you'd think.
I stuck my dead drive in a vice and hit it with a mash hammer and,, not a lot happened, dented the case a bit but that was all.

Then attacked it with a battery powered hand drill, admitedly the drill bit was a little blunt but I was surprised as to the amaount of abuse it took.

Might have to take an angle grinder to it .

The hammer trick would only flatten the drive.

I gotta admit, it does feel good to hit one with a hammer.

I think it a T8 driver that will take the screws out.

Make a semi truck run over it! Cover it of gazoline and burn the hell out of it! Play baseball with it! Use it as a bumper, and crash into a concret wall!

Wow, I think I'm getting high! I should stop, or your hard drive (as well as most of your bellongings) may get destroyed in a gruesome maner.

LOL!

Put 2lbs of Thermite in a clay flower pot and set the pot on top of the hard drive. Ignite the thermite with a magnesium ribbon and stand back.

That puppy will be gone in about 30 seconds! Watch the video below and you'll see what I mean!

I could give it to my mate at the rifle range. They could shoot at it.
