Good evening

I took a NB-XLP blacksilent fan and I would use it as a front fan for a soprano case but I do not know how to connect to the motherboard asus striker extreme. It has a 4-pin connector and I do not know where to attack.

Thank you.

I'm not familier with that type of fan but if it's like conventional PC case fans then the easiest way (and what I always do) is to find a spare 4 pin connector from your power supply leads and put that to the fan. Look to see how your other case fans are powered. Whether they are from the power supply direct or from the MOBO.

Is the fan connector a 4 pine Molex connector, the type which is somewhat bulky, made of white nylon?

Or is the the 4 pin type to slide on the mount tabs on motherboards?

Looking at the motherboard manual there is 8 fan connectors on that board.

Use any one of the optional connectors or straight to the power supply, which ever one will work.
