Freezing on Welcome Screen

Hi, I've had this problem for a couple of days now. When I start up my PC in normal mode when I enter my password the spinning loading icon with welcome next to it spin for about 5 seconds before freezing.

The PC works fine in both the safe modes, I've been through my event viewer and have found error, I was just wondering if anyone knew how to fix the error.

This error keeps spamming 2 - 4 times every couple of minutes this is the most recent error:

It says your hard drive has problems. It may be going bad or it could just be a few corrupt files. It tells you to run CHKDSK. Have you done that?

It can be done in safe mode. Open a DOS prompt & run CHKDSK /F. It will tell you it has to run on next boot ... say Yes. Shutdown/restart.

Once it runs, if it shows a significant amount of errors then it's a good chance your harddrive is going bad and needs replaced. If not, then reboot with a Windows 7 Installation disk in the DVD Rom (and the DVD set as the primary boot device) and run the repair option from the DVD.

I think you are very close to a Hard Drive crash.So better to back up your data
How old is the Hard Disk ?
If it is older than 5 years back up your data imediatly
and do what TrainableMan says.He is good at this stuff
