Resource Hacker is for advanced users and could be extremely disastrous. I used it on XP but I've never tried it on W7. If you are this advanced that you would need a tool to edit the kernal etc then you already know about this tool and I discourage it's addition to the freeware DB.

I don't use cnet downloads anymore
