FreeCommander Question

Hello Experts :-)

This FreeCommander program is a very useful one to have but it is
spoiled because it keeps a default of NOT saving a file. When I try to
save a file, Windows Explorer bounces up and grabs the file, leaving
FreeCommander out of the picture. Most likely there is a setting that
leaves Windows Explorer on its rump and that's what I want to see.

TIA

"Saving' files is not a function of a file manager.
If you are editing a file and click 'save' the old file will be
overwritten with the new version.
If you click 'save as', or if it's a new file, then you will get
a dialogue box asking where to save the file. Nothing to do with
Windows Explorer or 'grabbing' - whatever that means.

Like I, it allows one to incorporate their own favorite text editor if
you have one..... under (extra > settings > programs) be sure to save
settings on exit...

P.S. Appreciate Your Salutation.... Thanks
