I knew it, but i forgot how to do that.
Under the TV name, on my folder, is another "file folder" name.
That's happent only when the folder is set to Tiles.
I know 100 % , is possible to get ride of this name ( File folder ) somehow from regedit,
i read about ( and tried, too ) but i forgot how to do that.
Any ideas are welcome.
Thanks in advance.

I'm not sure I understand. Is that sub- file folder empty? Can't you simply delete it?

I think that the OP means that he wants to get rid of the "File Folder" tag that's under the folder name. You see - the little grey text under "TV".

Kinda like when you have a song - with Album, Composer, etc. tags under the title of the file.

Try this:.
Open explorer. and launch the "Choose Details" box

a. Go to View menu and click on Choose details, under the "View" tab. Uncheck the attribute "Type". and see if it works for you.

I don't understand where you mean. I didn't find this option.
Please explain me more detailed.
Thanks.
LE : I found this menu, i unchecked Tiles, but still the same, under the name of the folder.
If i remember corect, there is a trick with regedit.

Yes, file folder is simply the Type of item it is; it is a "file folder". Try Dave's idea to not display the Type field. Of course this means no files will show the Type.

Edit: Dave I gave that a try and I couldn't get the desired results. It removes the column from Details display but not from tiles. Stereo, hopefully Dave gets back to you when he sees this and I will keep looking as well.

I've been searching and I'm sorry but I cannot find a registry edit to change or remove the words "File folder".

I have been searching for something similar to this edit done for IrfanView but so far have been unsuccessful, sorry.

Hopefully some others have an idea. Also, if you figure it out on your own please post back.
