I like to have the task bar ungrouped where there is an icon for each
instance of Firefox (I don't use IE)
I can change the order of where they fall on the task bar but they are
still grouped together (which is ok). What I would like to do is
arrange the order of what is opened in Firefox. Even though I
sometimes open Firefox shortcuts at different times, I would like to
have certain ones listed first when I start looking for one.

Try opening 3 different versions of FF and change the order they are
listed on the taskbar.

It would be nice if the entire title bar would be displayed when you
hover over the FF icons.

You may already know this, but you can arrange the order of the opened
tabs within each instance, but you can't arrange the order of the
instances on the taskbar. You can only move them as a group, or at
least that's how it seems to me.

Yeah. That was not an earth shattering improvement, but still a
useful one.

Thanks

right click on a tab and select "Pin as App Tab" (FF7.0.1)
Then drag the tabs into the order you want.
