I suppose we all have out likes and preferences. I really do not have any problems with IE? Nothing with loading pages or breaking up. Maybe I got lucky with my hardware setup etc.
Only thing I would add, to throw in a spanner, After several attempts, I just cannot get on with the highly acclaimed Opera.

Danperteet: "So far I have tried IE8, Firefox 3.5.x And Google Chrome and I have a few things to say.

IE ran the fastest of all three, but was real bad with pop-ups and has too many security holes."

I read this a lot but it still remains a litle bit of a mystery to me. How do the security holes manifest themselves?
I really don't know how these security holes always end up in IE. But it's like asking, How were the recently patched security holes in XP not found until now? We just had this patch tuesday in October that had patches for XP, which was released in 2001 if I remember correctly.

No. What I mean is, what do the "security holes" let in, or whatever.

I would have to check on that. Since IE8 is fairly new, I wouldn't know what security holes it has. I can only tell you what security holes are in IE7 and back.

Firefox has updated again! The final pre-release build of 3.6 has been released and it smokes! IE8 will never, ever catch up with Mozilla, in terms of browser development. The employees of Microsoft have worked so hard last year with three major releases, two (Windows 7 & MSE) are excellent and one (IE8) is a flop. In all honestly, I'm not biased. I do try to use the browser, but it's too damn slow for me. Some of the people who helped develop Windows 7 & MSE should give their fellow employees in the browser department a hand, because they need it. It doesn't matter whether I use the 32 or 64 bit IE, they both are slow.

I noticed that version 3.5.7 was out now too. Actually this was my first firefox install on this restore. The last install I made, I think was version 3.5.4.

I have a HTML project that I created, and it only runs under IE7, and IE8. This project does not work under Firefox and other browsers because of special features. So now that I have a basic design, I need to find out what will and what will not work in the other browsers. Yikes, what a headache. One error problem at a time is all I know to do.

The 3.6 version was a beta that was my default browser. It's about to become a reality, 3.6 will be the most updated browser for Windows. 4.0 will probably be released in beta by the end of the year.

You could always install Google toolbar for a pop-up blocker and use the Windows Host file to block the ads...
