Firefox 8 vs Firefox 7?????

Would it be advisable to go w/ FF 8(32 bit only) or FF 7?? Any
suggestions/comments is appreciated.

Although he didn't explicitly ask, I think Rudy wanted some reasons -
especially for using it if it's only available (so far) in 32 bit
(assuming he has a 64-bit OS).

Either version will be the same - there is no 64 bit official version of
Firefox - so he should use v8, as it is the most secure.

Win7 64-bit has no problems running 32-bit FF.

Apart from that, the real question is whether the "improvements" to FF
are worth the hassle of learning small, and therefore annoying, changes
in work habits. I don't think so, but YMMV.

Yes, it's on Mozilla's private server so you'll have to set up your
newsreader (Agent) for news.mozilla.org and then look for the Firefox
newsgroup mozilla.support.firefox.

Yeah, they probably NG killfiled him on numerous occasions if he has to
bring it up.
