Firefox 3.6 Final is Released!

A lot of FF users had "issues" with the 3.5.x versions, especially with Windows 7. It was crashing on me about 10% of the times.

I used the 3.6 RC1 & RC2 versions and have had no problems with either so far. I updated to 3.6 Final yesterday 1-21, still no issues.

Gah 3 of my favorite add-ons won't work with this new FF....

Sorry to hear that, I'll bet that the developers of the add-ons will them updated quickly.

They will work soon, they always do. You can still run 3.5.7, too. Firefox is a fast developer and for the most part, know what they're doing. The plans are for 4.0 to be released by the year's end, but it's not carved in stone. IE9, anyone...............

Firefox 3.6 is an excellent browser, one that you can customize the way you want. There are thousands of add ons to choose from, but at the time, there's still a few from 3.5.7 that you can't get. But shortly, they will be there.

on my update to the latest ff, my toolbar and tabs are extremely small, any way to increase their size? thanks in advance

Welcome to the forums, dustinoe08! I didn't notice any difference in my tabs or toolbar. Try uninstalling and reinstalling latest Firefox, see if it helps.

Has anyone tried the "Persona" add-on for Firefox? I really like it.

Tried it... don't like the Persona stuff. I use the Gradient iCool theme and that's all I need.
