[SOLVED] .exe issue

Formatting the HD and reinstalling may be a very good idea. After you do that be sure to install a good AV and then scan your backed up data before using it or moving it anywhere, just to be sure there is nothing hiding there.

I noticed your notebook computer comes stock with an ATI HD 5470 video card. Did you change it out for an Nvidia GeForce 330M card as your computer specs state?

Just curious, that may cause some issues if the notebook was built for that video card.

Nope. My laptop actually came with the Nvidia Geforce. My girlfriend has an identical one (ordered from bestbuy at the same time) and its the same specs as mine. Might as well call this closed. I've reformatted and it isnt doing it anymore, however, i reran the spyware program mentioned above before the reformat and it fixed the .exe so i believe it was a spyware issue.
