Thanks CC for this post, If it wasn't for you I would have probably forgotten to put this problem in another thread.

I have ATI 4770 HD graphic card, and it was always up to date.
The problem started after my May 7th uptade to version 10.11, which I still run.
There is a problem with installing the new drivers, after the installation is ''complete'' it says ( Warnings occurred during installation) view log for details.

I press on the view log and nothing happens

The Installation goes smooth until 70% and then it's ''installed''

What should I do?

P.S - I would tell you what the problem is, but as mentioned I can't view the log..
Sorry

Don't update drivers through Windows update. You should always update drivers from the vendors site. Once on the site, top right, support and drivers...just fill in information and it will take you to the correct driver for your GPU.

http://www.amd.com/us/Pages/AMDHomePage.aspx

Download and save it (your choice of where to save it). Then uninstall old driver...a reboot maybe needed....then install new driver....again a reboot maybe needed.

As Bassfisher says, get it from the real source.

Version dates are initially year.month, followed by a letter for minor updates.. Currently 11.8 which, err, is now!

Download and install Driver Sweeper and run it in Safe Mode to clean out remnants of your previous / current drivers and then re-install.

Then if you're OC'ing, turn it down / off until you get sorted.

Thanks for the reply.
Something is really going wrong here..
I did everything you just said and still I get errors.

Went to Safe Mode, ran Driver Sweeper and cleaned everything.
I'm not overclocking.

Then I downloaded the drivers from the AMD site.
And installed it.

Again errors.

No ATI graphics driver is installed, or the ATI driver is not functioning properly.
Please install the ATI driver appropriate for your ATI hardware.

Check your PC for Virus's, Malware, spyware...you definitely have a problem. Start there. Are there any issues in the device manager?

Was your graphics card brand new? Has it ever worked in another machine? If ATI doesn't like it I am wondering if it doesn't detect the card properly or if the card might be bad.

I bought a brand new ATI Radeon 4770 HD graphic card..
I don't have Viruses, Malware or anything similar, trust me, I use Original Kaspersky
Anti Virus for years now and never had problems.
But thanks I checked it twice today.
Windows Defender is also saying that there isn't any threat.

Also, I checked the Device Manager section.
It's say Display Adapters: ATI Radeon 4770 HD but with this sign ''!''
Clicked on properties and this is written under Device Status :
Windows cannot start this hardware device because its configuration information (in the registry) is incomplete or damaged. (Code 19)

Thanks guys I really appreciate it!

If it is brand new then you should contact the manufacturer and mention that error.

Another extreme option would be a complete reinstall of W7.
