[SOLVED] Epson Perfection 1670 photo scanner

I have a perfectly good Epson Perfection 1670 photo scanner but cannot get it to work on W7 64bit as I cannot find a driver. Can anyone help please.

Ive tried to use the suggested driver (on this forum) for the Epson Perfection 1650 photo scanner but cannot get it to work.

You should be able to use the Vista x64 drivers with no problem.

Hi Jules, it looks like the driver listed on this page is Windows 7 32/64 bit compatible

BRILLIANT. I didnt think to try the american site. That twain driver and scanning interface works fine. My scanner is not the PHOTO version of the 1670 and isnt listed but the driver works well anyway. All I need to do now is find the 64bit compatible epson software which allows to scanner to function as a copier. I think its called "Epson panel" or something but it runs "in front" of the twain driver. Once again thanks +++

I found the additional software needed - the scanner control panel - "Epson Smart Panel 3.6" - its compatible with Win7 32 & 64 bit.
