You may recall the N editions - afaik the keys were different and could only be used on Specific Vista dvd's .

Will the E keys be the same - or can they be used with any 7 install media?

One of the many great things about Vista ( assuming you didn't have a N edition ) is that your product key can be used with any Vista install Media.

E.g. if you get hold of the install media - you can use the key off the side of your oem preinstall machine to do a nice clean install - without the oem junk.

You can also get hold of the SP2 integrated .iso and install it using your existing Vista key.

IF the E keys are different from the regular (non E) keys - that will be a nuisance.

I know some folks have phoned MS to see if They can upgrade from the RC .

Curious if anybody had asked this question.

I don't think anybody has thought to ask it yet - don't see any posts on the Forums I frequent.

If I come across anything , I will post it here of course.
