You said VGA monitors can only go up to 1024x768. thats not true. my display is 1680x1050.
mine is a 20inch monitor vga, Flatron L204WS

I was naive and slim minded back then. I now know that my montitor can only go there . Also, I only have a 15-inch.

Old post, old topic, bit WindowsGeek is bored. Young BetaMan, you have much to learn. VGA doesn't have a limit, but instead the limit lies in the monitor and graphics card. One of my monitors (the Envision 19") is VGA only, but is 1280x1024. The only difference, other than the connector type, is that VGA is analog, and DVI is digital.
