Driver Poblem

I cannot make the Windows Fax & Scan work. When I select scan on the first dialog, nothing happens. (I am familiar with this operation; I can get it to work on a second computer. Both are Win7 but with different processors). Could this be a driver problem? I don't seem to have any other problems.

Computer 1 (WF&S does not work)
AMD Athlon II X2 255 Processor 3.10 GHz
2.00GB (1.75 GB usable) RAM
64-bit OS (Win7 Professional)

Computer 2 (WF&S does work)
Dell Inspiron 50S
Intel Core i3 cpu 550@3.20 GHz
RAM: 6.00GB (5.8 usable)
OS: 64-bit (Win7 Home)

You failed to mention the Printer make/model.

If you are talking about the exact same printer/scanner connected to both computers? If so then, because both are 64-bit W7, they should need the same drivers. Note: they may come packaged together but there is usually one driver to print and one to scan.

So YES, it's likely a driver missing on Comp 1 and the driver you need is apparently installed correctly on Comp 2.
