Do I want 32-bit Java *and* 64-bit Java runtime on my 64-bit windows machine?

Can a 32-bit java app use the 64-bit runtimes?

I assume they can co-exist.

Yes if you use both 32 and 64 bits browser.

32-bit IE is still the default in Win7 when you open a link, so you can
manage just fine without installing the 64-bit JRE for now.
