It's easy to make IE the default browser. but it's not so easy to specify
IE x64!
Unless you've found some magic that has eluded me, making "IE" the default
means "IE x86" - "NOT IE x64".
Or did I misunderstand what you said?
The Subject of this thread is backwards: Win7 x64 DOES default to the x86
version of IE, not the x64 version.
