They took that in Build 7048 IIRC.
hit run type in CMD to bring the prompt up.

In the command prompt, type 'powercfg -h' off and press 'Enter'.

i tried that "powercfg -h off" command with my username that is an administrator but i get an error message that tells me that i dont have administrator privileges. i cant disable hibernation on my pc. im running 7068.

how do i login as "Administrator"? cant seem to find its login screen. double pressing of the key combination of ctl+alt+del doesnt bring up the login screen wherein you could change the username like that in windows XP... please help..

thank you.

Click on the Start button, type in 'cmd' in the search field.
'cmd.exe' will be found.
Right click on it and select 'Run as administrator'

To disable all admin messages - I disabled UAC (User Access Control). I now have access to changing anything on the computer.
