Microsoft has released the DirectX November Update for all versions of Windows.

WARNING: it offers to install the Bing Toolbar by default. It will show you a screen asking if you want it and it is selected already; be sure to uncheck it if you don't want it.

This update is for DirectX 9, which Windows 7 uses DirectX 10.

Why does one need to update DirectX 9 if 10 is already installed?
