Directx 11 compatible in windows 7 x64

Dear All,

I have developed a application using directx 11 managed dll, and it's works fine in windows xp x86 32 bit. running the same application windows 7 x64 crahses, any special reason for this, whether directx 11 compatible for windows 7 x64 ?.

Windows Xp,X86,32 bit, managed dll of
Directx SDK august 2009.

windows 7 machine specs.
- WIndows 7, x64, 64 bit
