Is there or how would i change my desktop user icon folder to a specific picture icon using png/gif format instead of the boring icons pre installed?

Through >> Personalize >> Change Desktop icons?? Or just right-click and select the Customize tab. You can't use a png/gif though. It has to be an icon. You can, of course, make an icon from your png/gif image (preferably png, better quality as a rule) and then use that.
Desktop Folder 'user profile folder icon'-folder-icon.png
If you need a hand to make an icon from an image etc. etc..... Let me know.

It's Liar Cat and you have 5 yrs before I consider calling you Mr. (besides you weren't even in this thread)

Also, If I were Bugs I would be wary of taking advice from Elmer, it might be a trick to Kill Da Wabbit !!!
